Shanghai, China Summer 2020 Program

Panorama of Shanghai, China

The summer Shanghai, China program provides credit-bearing summer courses, taught in English, to students during the summer months. Undergraduate students are typically enrolled in other U.S. universities during the academic year. Many use the summer session to keep their English language skills sharp and to catch-up on courses while visiting family in China. Others choose this opportunity to take classes while traveling the world.

This summer, Fitchburg State faculty will teach students at the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in China. Classes will run June 29 - July 31, 2020.

To see what courses are being offered, take a look at our Course Schedule and Instructor Bios.
*These courses are considered Fitchburg State University courses and thereby carry Fitchburg State University credits. This program has been approved by our regional accrediting agency, New England Commission of Higher Education - (NECHE).

Shanghai is an international city that prides it’s self on its diversity and combination of both modern and traditional Chinese culture. It is one of the most populated cities in China with a population of over 23 million people.
