MTEL Preparation Workshops

Fall MTEL Prep Workshops: Early Childhood, General Curriculum, Foundations of Reading, Math Subtest

Are you struggling to pass the MTEL? Are you feeling overwhelmed and not sure where to focus your study time? Try one of the various MTEL Preparation Workshops at Fitchburg State University. Our workshops are conveniently offered in the evenings and on weekends to accommodate life’s busy schedule.

All MTEL workshops are $180 for non-matriculated students. If you are a current Fitchburg State matriculated undergraduate and graduate student, you may take these courses at no additional cost.

The Foundations of Reading MTEL prep course  focuses on the core concepts in Foundations of Reading Development, Phonological & Phonemic Awareness, Phonics, Reading Fluency, Word Identification Skills, Vocabulary Development, Reading Comprehension & Literacy Assessment and Open Response Writing. This course is designed to assist individuals in passing the Foundations of Reading MTEL.

*By enrolling in this self-paced online course, you will be able to review the content at your own pace, explore a new learning experience, fit the course into your schedule, and build confidence and skills by progressing through focused course modules that use interaction, reflection, and best-practices in MTEL test taking.
