Music Referral Service

The Music Referral Service at Fitchburg State connects individuals and organizations in need of music services with performers and groups affiliated with the Fitchburg State music program.

MRS current offerings are listed below. Please see if there is a potential match for your event and then contact us by filling out the Service Request Form (MS Word).

Once your submission is reviewed, we will put you in touch with the musicians you requested, or the closest match for your event. You will then proceed to contact the musicians. Booking and compensation agreements are between you and the musicians. Please ask the performers for a demo recording and/or specific references as you deem necessary. If the initial contact is unavailable or you wish another contact please let us know.

MRS is a free service that facilitates connection between musicians affiliated with Fitchburg State and clients in the surrounding community, and is not liable for anything that may not satisfy either of the two parties or any disputes that may arise between them.

After the service is completed we request a Satisfaction Survey (MS Word) to be filled out and returned to us within ten days.
