Our faculty, librarians, and staff are a creative and resourceful lot when it comes to serving our students and our greater community.
Civic or community engagement concepts must involve a community partner and one or more of our students in a high-impact educational practice, such as:
- An internship
- Community-based research
- Some other act of civic or community engagement
To submit a concept, please complete the Community Engagement Project Request Form (MS Word) and email it to the coordinator of Fitchburg State’s Douglas and Isabelle Crocker Center for Civic Engagement.
If approved by members of the Crocker Center Civic Engagement Faculty/Staff Forum, civic/community engagement funds of up to $1,000 may be available for you, your student(s), and your community partner.
