Winter Commencement ceremony Friday, Dec. 16

Spencer Fuller and Hallie Dyer are Winter 2022 commencement honorees

Fitchburg State University will hold the winter ceremony of its 126th commencement exercises at 6:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16 in the university’s Athletics and Recreation Center.

The ceremony will include the conferral of graduate and undergraduate degrees. University President Richard S. Lapidus will deliver the commencement address.

Also offering remarks will be Graduate Student Leadership Award recipient Spencer D. Fuller, who is completing a master of science degree in criminal justice, and undergraduate valedictorian Helen “Hallie” Dyer of Westwood, who is completing a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice. Both student speakers are enrolled in the university’s police program.

The ceremony will be streamed live on FATV. The ceremony is being open captioned live, which may be accessed via personal communications devices at fitchburgstate.edu/captioning.
