Top work created by Fitchburg State University students will be celebrated at the virtual Undergraduate Conference for Research and Creative Practice on Thursday, April 21.
For more than a decade, the undergraduate conference has been a showcase for academic and creative expression. The conference was canceled in 2020 because of the pandemic, but returned in 2021 in a virtual format. This year's program will adopt a similar virtual format, with the benefit being visitors may experience and appreciate excellent student work at their own pace.
In addition to oral and poster presentations of student research, recorded performances from the Chamber Choir and the Fitchbyrds (Fitchburg State’s jazz band) will be viewable. ARTeries, the juried exhibition of student artwork, will also be presented in an online gallery format, along with a selection of students' creative writing.
The full conference program and details will be posted at fitchburgstate.edu/ug-conference. The conference link will be live by 9 a.m. Thursday, April 21.
