
Applications are being accepted now for scholarships supporting students enrolled in Fitchburg State’s upcoming faculty-led study abroad programs in 2022.
- The Global Ambassador Scholarship awards money to students studying abroad on ANY faculty-led program through Fitchburg State University.
- The Center for Italian Culture/Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Scholarship awards money to students studying abroad in Italy either on the faculty-led program to Verona or a semester study abroad program in Italy.

Spring Break
- Introduction to Peace Studies in Ireland with Professor Eric Budd
- Rhetoric in Greece Communications Program in Greece with Professor J.J. Sylvia
- Global Public Health in Costa Rica with Professors Benes and Stone
May
Summer
- Tropical Ecology Program in Costa Rica with Professor Chris Picone
- History and Eat, Speak, Italian Program in Verona with Professors Dan Sarefield and Rala Diakite
- Facilitating English Language Program in Spain with Professors Felicia Farron-Davis and Scott Tyner
Students interested in pursuing either scholarship opportunity should:
- Apply to their faculty-led program of choice.
- Apply to either the Global Ambassador or CIC/AVGC Scholarship on Academic Works now through Friday, Oct. 22.
