The University conducted a Campus Climate Survey in the spring of 2018. The following reports represent samples of the resulting data and show the percentage of respondents that strongly agreed/agreed with the statements in the survey.

Campus Climate Results by Department

The following reports contain student data disaggregated by program for each Department. The reports are not lengthy and show the percentage of students by major that strongly agreed/agreed with the statements in the survey.

As you are reviewing your department or program’s report below, think about the following:

  • How does your program/department compare to the University as a whole?
  • What are the positives or strengths as perceived by the students in your program/department?
  • What are the negatives or weaknesses as perceived by the students in your program/department?
  • Is there an area the department/program could work on to have an even more positive impact on the experience of our students?
  • Is there something in the data that the department/program should have in its action plan going forward?
  • Is there something that truly resonates with the faculty in the program/department after reviewing the data?
  • If you are a service department, examine the university-wide data with an eye to how your courses could positively impact the student experience.
