The Financial Aid Office maintains information of current scholarship opportunities available through a variety of community agencies and businesses. Eligibility requirements and deadlines vary, many new applications for the next academic year are already arriving! The Financial Aid Office is not responsible for awarding or advising on any of the resources listed on this page. Please contact the entity that is listed for additional information.

Abbott and Fenner Scholarship Program - Will be awarding up to $1,000 to the winner(s) each year. Scholarship Deadline is June 15, 2012.
Andrew J. Zabierek Foundation - Is a foundation that was named for the families' brother after his death in Iraq. One of their goals is to help veterans from Massachusetts transition back to civilian life by helping them obtain their undergraduate degrees.
Army Nurse Corps Association (ANCA) - awards scholarships to students attending accredited baccalaureate or graduate nursing or anesthesia programs. In 2012, ANCA will be selecting up to 15 students to receive $3,000 scholarships. Deadline is March 31, 2012.
Army ROTC Financial Opportunities - Scholarships, Book stipend, monthly stipend
Big Sun Scholarship - The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to continue to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. We are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible for this award, regardless of which sport they are participating in. The deadline is June 22, 2012. Amount of award is $500.
B. Davis Scholarship - The creators of the "Student Award Search Aid" website are offering a scholarship for 2012. The deadline for applications is May 28, 2012. Amount of scholarship is $1,000.
Education-Portal.com's - Undergraduate and graduate degree scholarships from $500 - $1000. April 1st 2012 deadline.
Metro West Community Health Card Foundation - offers $2,000 scholarships on an academic year basis to Metro West area students interested in pursuing formal educational opportunities in nursing, medicine, and the allied health professions.
Navy Health Profession Scholarship Program (HPSP) - Monthly stipend. Covers full tuition, books and fees. Commissioned as a Dental Corps Officer receiving all Navy benefits. National Association of Women in Construction - NAWIC Boston - Applications are open to both men and women who are full-time students, and who, as of September 2012, will be enrolled as degree candidates in a construction-related, construction management, architecture, civil, mechanical, structural, or electrical engineering, and/or a fully accredited technical or apprentice program. Must be postmarked by March 1, 2012.
New England Employee Benefits Council (NEEBC) - This scholarship encourages students to consider the employee benefits field for career opportunities.
Price Chopper's Golub Foundation - Is offering ten scholarships to students who live within their marketing area. The application procedures and criteria for each scholarship opportunity are described online, under Community Events (bottom left hand side of page). The deadline is March 15, 2012.
Scholarships for African American students (PDF)
Society of Professional Communicators - $1,000 Scholarship prize is awarded each year to either an undergraduate majoring in a communications field at a college in Worcester County, or a graduating senior continuing on to graduate school in communications. Application deadline is February 15, 2012.
U.S. Bank Internet Scholarship Program - Available to high school seniors and college or university undergraduates. Forty $1000 Scholarships awarded in a random drawing. Program runs October 2011 through March 2012.
Viral Video Scholarship Contest - $25,000 in Scholarships. The program has been created as a community service project to help educate the public on safe driving practices. It will award scholarships to the film students or video production enthusiasts who create the best viral videos promoting safe driving.
