Outside the classrooms and laboratories, Fitchburg State is in many ways similar to a small town. We boast a highly-trained police force that patrols campus with cruisers, bicycles and motorcycles. In addition to traditional crime prevention techniques, we utilize a variety of high-tech approaches to create a safe environment. And we help those with issues large and small, from crime investigation to vehicle lock-outs.

We also work to improve parking and its related challenges, mail delivery, and myriad other services.

Sustainability is a particular priority as we seek to play a major role in climate neutrality: recycling, green construction, building modernization, and monitoring of energy usage.
