Welcome to the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) at Fitchburg State University. The CTL supports a wide variety of programs for full-time and adjunct faculty and librarians, including:
- The mentorship of incoming faculty and librarians
- Innovation grants to encourage the use of new technologies or teaching methods in the classroom
- A host of pedagogical and instructional technology workshops
- Demonstrations of the latest educational technologies
- The faculty speakers' series
- Book signings and artists' presentations
- An annual, week-long summer institute.
The CTL is located in the library next to the circulation desk. Though staffed only occasionally, the Center is open to all faculty and librarians during standard business hours. To schedule or suggest an event at the CTL, please contact the center director, Laura Garofoli.

- The Resource Center link includes a searchable database of the Center's holdings (both electronic and paperbound). In addition, it has information about technology trainings and relevant conferences and organizations.
- The Innovation Grants link provides information and application materials for the current academic year's grants, as well as a list of past recipients and their projects.
