Fall Semester Highlights

First Night

First Night is part of Fitchburg State's Orientation Program. It takes place the first night Freshmen and Transfer Students move in. Starting at 8pm, Student Development along with assistance from clubs and organizations such as SGA and FAB fill the Quad with music, free food, games, novelties, and many more giveaways. The event is designed to ensure students have a fun and positive first night on campus.

Rock the Block

Rock the Block is one of the most popular events of the year. Held on the First Thursday of the Fall semester Highland Ave is blocked up from traffic and filled with numerous booths and tables run by both student organizations and offices. The Event gives new and current students the opportunity to see what Fitchburg State has to offer outside of the classroom. Organizations around campus fill their tables with information, sign up sheets, and loads of freebies for students to enjoy.

Rock the Block Takes place during opening week of School so students can jump right into involvement on campus.

Homecoming Weekend

Homecoming is sponsored by the Office of Student Development for all students and their families.
