Fitchburg State University will have a delayed opening Tuesday because of the impact of Hurricane Sandy. Classes will resume at 11 a.m. and offices will open at 10:30 a.m. Should conditions change, or Gov. Patrick recommend statewide closings, the university will provide an update via Connect-ED early tomorrow morning.

Students, faculty and staff should expect to hear Connect-ED messages concerning the storm during its progress, and updates will be posted on the front page of the university website and through social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter.
