Explore cuisine of Southern Italy on April 7 and 8

Fred PlotkinEnjoy a guided culinary tour of Southern Italy when renowned author gourmand Fred Plotkin returns to the Fitchburg State University campus in April. The history, culture and cuisine of the Puglia region will be explored at 6:30 p.m. Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8 at the Falcon Hub in Hammond Hall, 160 Pearl St.

An authentic menu of specialty dishes will set the stage for Plotkin’s talk, and a cash bar featuring regional wines will also be offered. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. each night.

Tickets for this reserved seating event are $35 and can be ordered online or by visiting the Weston Box Office inside Weston Auditorium, 353 North St. The box office is open from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Thursday and Friday and can be reached at 978-665-3347.
