Bowen named Executive Vice President/Provost
Dr. Robin E. Bowen, who came to Fitchburg State University in 2011 as its vice president for academic affairs, has been promoted to executive vice president/provost, University President Robert V. Antonucci has announced.
Bowen’s major duties will continue to focus on academic affairs, though her responsibilities will now make her second in command for overall administration and leadership at Fitchburg State.
“Dr. Bowen has been an outstanding member of the leadership team at Fitchburg State and I am honored that she will be taking on additional responsibilities at the campus,” President Antonucci said. “She has played a pivotal role in moving the institution forward, including the development of our new game design major.”
Fitchburg State University enrolls 7,000 day and evening students in more than 50 programs of study. The university was established in 1894.
