Cultural Activities

Fitchburg State University’s semesters are filled with performances featuring national and international artists – all organized by CenterStage at Fitchburg State University, the university’s signature presenting series.

The Art Gallery hosts four exhibitions by regional artists. It also hosts What’s New, a biannual exhibition of faculty work, and a juried exhibition of student pieces, which is known as ARTeries.

VISIONS marks the end of each year. It is an honors exhibition organized by the Communications Media department.

Come hear a wide range of fascinating speakers that complement our faculty talks and lectures. Plus, student performers — all singers and dancers — present their theatrical antics on stage and fill the hall with dulcet musical endeavors.

You can round out your cultural experience by checking out the many offerings by FAB—Fitchburg Activity Board, student-coordinated entertainment.
