Greetings,
Welcome to the Office of Student Conduct, Mediation and Education’s website. The Office of Student Conduct is primarily responsible for the oversight of matters relating to the student conduct process at Fitchburg State University. This site was designed to provide you with information about our office, programs and services, and the student conduct process.

Fitchburg State University expects its students to act in a mature and responsible manner. Respect for the rights of others, openness to new and challenging ideas, civility and courtesy are examples of this expectation. The Student Conduct Process has been established to address alleged violations of the Student Code of Conduct. The goal of the Student Conduct System is to support the educational mission of the university by insuring that an atmosphere of acceptance, curiosity and integrity is maintained on the campus.

The Office of Student Conduct is available to consult with students, faculty, and staff regarding the student conduct process, campus policies, interpretation of campus policies, student concerns (including classroom and behavioral issues) and other relevant areas. Please be advised that we are legally obligated to report certain information that may be disclosed to us. We reserve the right to share information with the Dean of Student and Academic Life and or other applicable offices that may have a legitimate educational interest or in cases of public safety.
