Counseling Services Emergencies

During business hours

You may "Walk-In" to the Counseling Services Office without an appointment from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. For FY2011-2012 the Office is temporarily located at the Rec Center, 2nd floor, Room 207.

For an emergency after business hours

After 5:00 PM and on the weekends during the regular academic year, Counseling Services staff provide 24-hour crisis response to the University. The counselor on-call can be reached through Campus Police (978) 665-3111 or a Campus Living staff member.

If you live on-campus

You may contact the Campus Police, a Resident Director, or a Resident Assistant.

If you live off-campus

Contact your usual health care provider (e.g., HMO, clinic, primary care doctor, or therapist), call 911 or proceed to the nearest hospital emergency room. Please also refer to the Distance Learners page to learn more about mental health services in your area.
