A home away from home

Fitchburg State strives to be a home for our students. In addition to classrooms and dorms, we have a wide
variety of resources to support our students and meet their needs.

  • The Hammond Campus Center is the living room of the campus. Students come here to eat, study, relax, and make friends. The center is home to a game room, information desk, volunteer center, and North Street Bistro, along with meeting rooms for clubs and organizations.
  • The Recreation Center houses a state-of-the-art fitness center, gymnasium, dance studio, and racquetball courts, and offers fitness classes and intramural sports.
  • The Holmes Dining Commons and The North Street Bistro are the campus dining rooms. Students choose from a number of meal plans and snack options to fit their needs, from full meal plans to inexpensive and healthy snacks.
  • The Amelia V. Gallucci-Cirio Library offers a broad range of services and online resources for students, faculty, and staff. The library has more than 130 databases, 203,000 books, 3,500 electronic books, and well over 25,000 unique electronic journals in its collection.
