Mentalist Duo: The Evansons

This show is total audience participation. They choose members of the audience to be part of the show and you could be one of them!
The Evasons have performed for audiences in over 28 countries and on numerous TV specials on FOX, NBC, Discovery Channel, CBC, CTV and The Comedy Network. The Evasons will read your mind and reveal things about you that nobody could know. Tessa will tell you the name of your childhood pet or the first person you ever kissed. She knows your date of birth and your Grandmother's first name.
You'll see predictions about the future and even watch a student levitate. They demonstrate Mind-Over-Body and move objects with their minds. One particular thing they do is so bizarre and scary that it always gives people goose bumps!
The Evasons mind-blowing feats of psychic magic will have you sitting on the edge of your seat!
Alternative Spring Break's Silent Auction Opens
Noon, Hammond Main Lounge
Goodie baskets, survival baskets—all sorts of baskets will be available for you to bid on. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the students of Alternative Spring Break as they help a needy family build a home with Habitat for Humanity in March during Spring Break. The auction winners will be announced on Saturday at 5 pm.

Fun Fair

Student clubs and organizations will be hosting a variety of fund raising booths with giveaways and activities like cotton candy, fried dough, popcorn, a traveling magician, balloon animals, food, home run derby, and more. You'll also be able to purchase your new University paraphernalia at the Bookstore booth.

Family Skate and Movie
2 pm - 5 pm, Gaetz Arena at the Wallace Civic Center
Bring your skates! Family Weekend presents its annual Family Skate and Movie. Watch a movie and skate as we show "Cars 2!" Skate rental is free—but limited—if you have 'em, bring 'em. Join the universities students as they host a bevy of fun filled activities in the lobby of the Gaetz Arena at the Wallace Civic Center.
Autumn Buffet

Cost: $9.50 (see order form), free for students with meal plan
Parents, families and guests are invited to join Fitchburg State's faculty and staff for music, entertainment and dinner.

For over 30 years, Lynn has given life to a trunk full of comical characters. She has performed for audiences worldwide in corporations, colleges, theatres, and cruise ships. Audiences are treated to Lynn's vocal illusion talents, when they may meet a lovable camel, a grumpy old man, a feisty little girl, and may even see some other audience members who are brought up for the action!
Lynn's off-the-wall audience interplay is riotously funny, no two shows are alike! Her performances are tailored for both family and adult audiences. Lynn has received many awards and nominations throughout her career including The American Comedy Awards, Variety Entertainer of the Year, and Comedy Entertainer of the Year by National Association of Campus Activities. She has been nominated for Best Female Performer by Corporate America Magazine, and has been named Funniest Female by Campus Activities Magazine. In 2010, Lynn received the "People's Choice Award" by the Ohio Arts Presenters Association.
She is a premier entertainer for several cruise lines, golf classics and resort casinos around the globe. Her off-the-wall audience interplay is riotously funny, and her performances are tailored for both family and adult audiences.

The Fitchburg CultureFest brings the campus and city together for an evening of music, food and celebration. Building on its inaugural success as a music festival last year, the family friendly CultureFest combines performances by up-and-coming bands with local artisans and vendors to highlight the tapestry that is Fitchburg. Sponsored by Fitchburg State University and the City of Fitchburg.

Peter Yarrow, Paul Stookey and Mary Travers—Peter, Paul and Mary—gave voice to a generation. Their renditions of songs like “Man of Constant Sorrow” brought America's folk songs out from forgotten places while “Blow in' in the Wind” or “If I Had a Hammer” moved their social and political commentaries to the forefront.
