What is the Alumni Association? It's you! Every graduate of Fitchburg State University (and its preceding institutional names) is a member of the Fitchburg State University Alumni Association. When you graduate from Fitchburg State you are not alone. You are part of a world-wide network of over 35,000 alumni.
The mission of the Fitchburg State University Alumni Association is to support the University and its students by:
- promoting philanthropy
- participating in University events and educational enrichment activities
- building strong student-alumni relations
The purpose of the Association is to promote the educational, professional, social and economic interests of the University. The Association strives to form close bonds among alumni, former students, current students, faculty, staff and the local community. The Association engages alumni in increasing numbers to participate though personal involvement and/or financial support of the university and the mission of the Association. Alumni and the Association strive to be visible on campus and active participants in university life.
The Association is supported and led by an elected Board of Directors. Members of the Board of Directors promote the interests of the Alumni Association and serve as liaisons between the Association and Fitchburg State community and community at-large.
