Industrial/Organizational Psychology Concentration
Concentration in Industrial and Organizational Psychology
The Industrial and Organizational Psychology Concentration is designed to prepare students entering a wide range of occupations in business and industry. It is particularly appropriate for those intending careers in personnel or human resources.
Required
PSY 2610 Organizational Psychology 3 cr.
(required but not a prerequisite for other I/O courses)
PSY 2500 Social Psychology 3 cr.
PSY 2370 Interpersonal Effectiveness 3 cr.
BSAD 1850 Introduction to Business 3 cr.
PSY 4810/ Practicum in Psychology 3 cr.
PSY 4820 (with a focus upon I/O Psychology) 3 cr.
Two of the following courses are also required:
