Industrial Technology
Program Overview
The program is the most comprehensive and advanced Industrial Technology program in Massachusetts. The curriculum focuses on the application and management of the technical skills of design, engineering, construction and production.
Concentrations of study include Architectural Technology, Construction Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, Energy Management Technology, Manufacturing Engineering Technology and Technical Theatre Arts and create minors by sharing coursework with the Education and Business Departments.
Paired with a comprehensive liberal arts and science underpinning, each concentration includes core technology courses that provide a strong technical foundation.
CAREER OPPORTUNITIES
Students who join the Industrial Technology Department can create a program of study that will prepare them for a number of careers in the real world. Over the last five years, the job placement rate for graduates of our department has exceeded 90 percent. Many graduates have gone on for advanced degrees.
