Requirements
Computer Hardware
The following are minimum recommended configurations. A faster computer and modem and more RAM will enable you to work faster and give you a better experience.
* Macintosh: OS System 10.6
* IBM Compatibles: Windows Vista Enterprise, SP2 or Windows 7, SP1
* Minimum Configuration:
2 GB of RAM
2.5 GHz Processor
80 GB Hard Drive
Ethernet or Wireless network connectivity
Computer Software
* An Internet browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox or Safari is required.
* A standard word-processing package such as Microsoft Word, or WordPad is required so you can prepare and submit homework, papers, and exams.
* Active e-mail account
* Since you may be exchanging files with your Instructor or classmates, it is required that you have current anti-virus software installed on your computer.
* In addition, students may be required to use course-specific software packages. Check the course descriptions for special software requirements.
