Career Opportunities

This certificate offers teachers in specific art forms the opportunity to learn about other arts to prepare for leadership positions in combined arts departments in schools.

Fitchburg State University's Fine Arts Director program is the reason I was named District-wide Director of Arts for Littleton Public Schools. The directorship program was well balanced, offering a wide view of the arts from curriculum development, staff management, and arts research. I am still in contact with many of the members of my cohort. Their support and diverse arts backgrounds were a great factor in the total Fitchburg State educational package.
